It’s midday and I am out in one of my favourite cafes sipping some herbal tea. There are so many flavours to choose from, and today I chose hazelnut and chocolate. It isn’t my favourite though. I prefer the chocolate digestive flavour!

I haven’t long come from a yoga class. I am actually poorly with a bug at the moment. I could have easily not gone out and sat at home feeling sorry for myself, but I already had the yoga booked so I decided to go along. My lower back has been playing up recently too, so I told the yoga teacher and she has said it could be the yoga we’ve been doing, as we have been focusing on the sacral chakra doing back work. I find the bridge and plank poses both challenging. In fact my back felt uncomfortable attempting bridge today so she has advised me to take a break from her class next week and to just go to the yin yoga class instead which I will gladly do. I absolutely LOVE yin as it’s gentle and slow stretching. Wishing I hadn’t done bridge pose today. It seems to have aggravated my back ☹

Oh well, I know better now and will take it easy. I think I will have a soak in an epsom salt bath this afternoon. I have to pick up some herbal tea my herbalist has made up for me. She said it’s to ward off winter bugs. Just what I need. She said it is elderflower, mint and yarrow. It’s a decongestant and antiviral. Can’t wait to try it!

I also found some immune support herbs she did for me ages ago but said it’s still okay to use. It has echinacea in, elderberry and elderflower. I’ve taken echinacea alone in the past and it is amazing. I would totally recommend it.

I’m also taking vitamin D and K which helps to absorb the D. And I’m taking vitamin C and zinc, both important for boosting immunity.

So hopefully with these herbs and supplements I will be feeling better for my evening out Friday.

Fortunately my energy isn’t too bad so I’m able to get out and have some fresh air and a change of scenery which is always good.

In fact I may take a look at the sea whilst I’m out as I love watching the waves. With that being said, I think I will finish up here at the cafe. Hope everyone is as well as possible and if not then I’d recommend a herbalist! Herbs really are powerful. 😊🙏
